6-18 months or when the child first shows interest in using a spoon.
Ideal Foods:
Baby food, yogurt, oatmeal and blended or mashed solids.
How to Use: Introduce the pre-spoon side with raised textures first so the child can get comfortable using the utensil while also soothing the gums. Once acclimated, flip the spoon to the opposite side, the second-stage pre-spoon which holds more food. Both sides can be used interchangeably for thicker foods.
